Tull Glazener: "English Country Dance Music" (Thursday, Session 4, Mountain Dulcimer, Intermediate)
The art form of English Country Dancing dates back to the Renaissance, and has given rise to current forms of social dancing, such as square and contra dancing. These lively tunes adapt themselves well to the mountain dulcimer. This class will present several of these tunes arranged for multi-part ensemble playing, giving them a decidedly �classical� feel. Play-along practice videos will be provided.
