Mark Tindle: "Right Hand Techniques" (Friday, Session 7, Mountain Dulcimer, Advanced Beginner)
First you will learn some healthy right hand ergonomics (assuming you play right-handed) that do not stress or overwork your arm or shoulder. Then, after a brief discussion on flatpicks and properly holding the dulcimer, we will dive right into a couple of tunes that are great exercises to help you develop good right-hand habits. We will also touch on a few right-hand embellishments. Tunes are to be determined.
